Job Title:  Wastewater Services Manager
Pay Rate:  $81,336 - $103,800 per year
Closing Date:  Open until Filled with First Review of Applications is February 18, 2019

Duties:  Supervises and motivates the Water Reclamation Facility operations and maintenance, Pretreatment Program, Environmental Laboratory, Biosolids Program, and Collection System personnel; analyzes, plans, and implements operations and maintenance improvements; coordinates Wastewater Services Division operations with other departments; reviews budget estimates; ensures coordinated operational effort by maintaining communication with various regulatory agencies; responds to public inquires and complaints; conducts inspections, reviews operations, prepares project design, oversees capital improvement plans, develops operating policies and procedures, etc; completes state and federal discharge monitoring reports; ensures compliance with all safety rules and procedures; and maintains proficiency by attending training conferences and meeting.

Qualifications:  Equivalent to a four-year university education in a related discipline and six years experience in treatment plant operation with at least two years at a Class IV system, two years supervisory and budget experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential job duties.  Possession of an Oregon Grade IV Wastewater Treatment System Operation certificate is required.  Possession of an Oregon Grade II Wastewater Collection System Operation certificate is desirable, but is not required.
